The Outokumpu Mining Museum offers an authentic underground experience where visitors descend 50 meters below ground to explore Finland’s mining heritage. The 227-meter tunnel features a fascinating mineral exhibition showcasing stones up to 3.5 billion years old.

Families will particularly enjoy the Kid’s Mine theme park (summer season), while all ages can learn about mining history through displays of machinery and industrial equipment. The museum provides an educational yet exciting experience, with guided tours available in Finnish and English.
