Forum Marinum Maritime Centre is a welcoming maritime museum complex where visitors can explore Finland’s seafaring heritage. The center features both indoor exhibitions and outdoor museum ships along the River Aura in Turku.

Families particularly enjoy climbing aboard the impressive collection of vessels during summer months, including tall ships and naval vessels. The year-round indoor exhibits showcase boats and maritime history, making it an educational experience for all ages. Children can discover life at sea while parents appreciate the historical significance. The on-site restaurant and museum shop provide convenient breaks during the visit.

The youngest guests will enjoy the dedicated Children’s Maritime Museum and Sea Monsters. The Children’s Maritime Museum is an inside playground for children, where they can steer the ship, set the sails and stare at the horizon. The Sea monsters is a new exhibition for kids and families.

The center’s location near Turku Castle creates an opportunity for a full day of historical exploration. The facility is easily accessible and offers plenty of space for families to move around comfortably.
