Albertin Olohuone (Albert’s Living Room) is a kid-friendly space in the heart of Helsinki. Parents with young children will enjoy a visit to relax, play, and connect. It’s designed for kids to have fun and explore in a safe environment, with a dedicated play corner full of toys and books.
Parents can enjoy free coffee and tea, use the microwave and fridge for snacks, and use the baby-changing station and nursing room. Friendly volunteers are always available to chat and provide assistance, creating a warm community vibe.
Albertin Olohuone is run by HelsinkiMissio, a social organization committed to reducing loneliness and increasing well-being among Helsinki citizens.

Maternity leave can be lonely. Albertin Olohuone has turned out to be a really important place for us, where you can meet wonderful people of different ages. I always leave there with a big smile on my face and so does the baby.
