Lux Nuuksio

Lux Nuuksio is a festival of light that celebrates the end of the dark season by illuminating the Nuuksio Lakeland area with ice and snow lanterns. The main event takes place at Haltia Nature Center. The event includes a diverse program for the whole family, such as a trail of lights (“tuikkupolku”), a fire show, and the opportunity to experience ice swimming. In addition to the main event, there are other events taking place across the Nuuksio Lakeland area during the weekend, hosted by local businesses.
